Once your rhinoplasty procedure has been completed, the area will be supported using a splint and a small dressing. These are left on for a week as you experience rhinoplasty recovery. You will not need to deal with having your nose packed with gauze, so your recovery will be more comfortable. After the week is done, the splint and dressing are removed.
