Frequently Asked Questions
While many clinics utilize excellent nurse injectors, at our practice, all Botox and filler treatments are personally performed by Dr. Thomas Kaniff, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon.
Exosomes are powerful signaling molecules—extracellular vesicles—that act as “messengers” between cells. When used with Microneedling RF, they deliver growth factors directly into the skin to accelerate healing and boost collagen production.
Because the lips are sensitive, Dr. Kaniff performs a specialized dental block to numb the area, making the experience much more comfortable than traditional numbing creams.
A liquid facelift is a customized combination of neuromodulators (like Botox) and dermal fillers. It is designed to lift the brow, restore cheek volume, and soften the nasolabial folds simultaneously without surgery.
Neuromodulators typically last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers vary by product and location, lasting anywhere from 6 to 18 months. Biostimulators like Sculptra can provide improvements for up to two years.
Filler fatigue refers to a puffy or bloated distortion of one’s appearance due to repeated over-filling. Dr. Kaniff believes filler should enhance your natural anatomy, not distort it. It is often advisable to dissolve old filler to return to baseline before starting a new treatment plan.
