The 11’s are the two vertical lines that form between the eyebrows. This area, known as the glabella, is best treated with Botox Cosmetic or Dysport. If the wrinkles are more stubbornly etched in the skin, then a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm Ultra may be recommended.
Crow’s feet are the radiating lines at the corner of the eyes. The goal of treating cfrow’s feet with Botox Cosmetic or Dysport is to soften the look of the lines, without looking “frozen.”
Forehead wrinkles are the horizontal wrinkles of the forehead that are successfully treated with Botox Cosmetic and Dysport. However, if the forehead muscle is supporting a sagging eyebrow a brow lift may be needed.
The nasolabial folds, commonly known as “laugh lines”, are the folds that extend from either side of the nose to the corners of the mouth, while the marionette lines run from the corner of the mouth to the chin. Over time, a line develops in the skin at these areas, which gradually develop into folds or grooves. There are a variety of fillers available to treat the skin wrinkle, fold or both. Dermal filler options include: Restylane Defyne, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Contour, Vollure, Juvederm Ultra Plus, RHA 2 and RHA 3.
Lip wrinkles, often referred to as smoker’s lines, commonly occur even in non-smokers. These lip lines can be nicely softened using RHA Redensity, Vobella or Restylane Refyne.
Cheeks wrinkles can be treated with fillers such as RHA 2, Restylane Defyne and Vollure, if they are superficial wrinkles.
Over time, the upper and lower lip lose volume and structure, resulting in thinner lips, loss of Cupid’s bow definition and wrinkles. The goal of lip filler is a natural appearing lip that doesn’t attract attention, but complements the other facial features. Lip filler options include RHA 2, RHA 3, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Refyne and Volbella.
Restoring cheek volume or improving cheek asymmetry can be performed with cheek fillers. The goal of cheek fillers is to provide a subtle, natural-looking appearance to the cheeks and help create a pleasing heart shape to the face. RHA 3, RHA 4,
Restylane Lyft and Voluma are popular cheek fillers placed on top of the bone, creating the appearance of a higher, stronger cheekbone. Juvederm Ultra Plus and Restylane Contour are often used as well to soften the areas above and below the cheekbone.
As the chin ages, volume loss develops in the chin area as well as along the side of the chin producing a shadow or concave appearance. Chin fillers can create a stronger chin and soften the concavity between the chin and jowl area. Fillers commonly used in the chin area include: Restylane Lyft, Voluma, Juvederm Ultra Plus, and Restylane Contour.
Rhinoplasty is the gold standard for nose reshaping, but sometimes dermal fillers can offer modest improvements. Precisely placed nose fillers can camouflage minor imperfections, soften the appearance of a hump or give the appearance of tip elevation.
Shadowing in the tear trough area (between the lower eyelid and nose) and along the lower eye socket bone can be softened with fillers such as RHA Redensity, Beletero and Restylane. A cannula may be used in this area to decrease bruising.
A tell-tale sign of aging is the loss of temple volume which can be improved with filler, helping to smooth the temple transition into the forehead and cheek bone areas. RHA2, Restylane, Restylane Contour or Sculptra may be recommended for this area.
Rejuvenate the back of the hands by restoring lost volume and diminishing prominent veins using Radiesse or Restylane Lyft. This non-invasive procedure is a simple office procedure that takes just a few minutes.
Volume rejuvenation of the hands is often paired with IPL treatments that improve brown age spots on the back of the hands.
Microneedling RF improves skin quality, brightness, and fine lines by combining the proven technology of collagen induction therapy (microneedling), radiofrequency heating of collagen, and the rejuvenating powers of exosomes into a no downtime procedure.
Laser skin resurfacing improves the skin quality by tightening lax skin, smoothing skin irregularities, improving pigment irregularities and softening fine lines.
Laser Peels are a no downtime fractionated laser peel that brightens the skin while improving the skin’s tone and texture, usually done in a series of six treatments.
