Meet Dr. Kaniff
Thomas E. Kaniff, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has performed over 25,000 surgeries over the past twenty-five years in Sacramento, CA.
Fellowship trained in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Kaniff is an expert in both surgical and non-surgical treatments of the face and neck. Based on his training and expertise, Dr. Kaniff focuses the surgical portion of his practice on rhinoplasty and procedures to improve the appearance of the face and neck. Dr. Kaniff uses his extensive anatomical knowledge, surgical training, and artistic eye to personally perform his patients’ non-invasive treatments such as toxins, fillers, and laser treatments.
His volunteer work with WEAVE (Women Escaping a Violent Environment), where he is a key figure in the development of a pro bono plastic surgery program for victims of domestic violence on the mend, has received accolades from both peers and media nationwide.
Dr. Kaniff is a graduate of the prestigious Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. His internship was served at LA County – USC Medical Center, Los Angeles. Following a rigorous facial plastic surgery fellowship and board examination, Dr. Kaniff was awarded board certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the ABFPRS.

In addition to managing a busy medical practice and surgery center, Dr. Kaniff enjoys spending time playing golf, skiing, and traveling to visit his two children.
