Add Shape and Contour to the Face and Neck with the Venus Freeze

The Venus Freeze is a non-invasive treatment designed to tighten sagging skin and reduce cellulite. It has been approved by the FDA. The doctor uses magnetic pulses and radio frequencies combined in a single device to stimulate the growth of new elastin fibers and collagen. The new tissues cause the skin to contract and tighten and thus reduce wrinkles and cellulite. The new elastin fibers also make the skin more elastic.

The pulsed magnetic fields stimulate the blood beneath the skin and thereby encourage it to carry more oxygen and nutrients. While some people start to see results after the third session, most patients need six sessions for the face or neck and eight or more sessions for the body to get the optimal results.

The name Venus Freeze comes from the Roman goddess of beauty and the treatment’s power to “freeze” the aging process.

What happens during the treatment?

The applicator emits pulsed magnetic fields and multi-polar radio frequencies that produce a pleasant heat. Some people have compared the heat of the treatment to that of a hot stone massage. A typical session lasts 20 minutes or more.

What is the recovery period like?

There is no downtime, so clients can return to their routine afterwards. Some clients may notice a faint pinkness to their skin, but that should fade within a few hours.

Most clients do need to undergo the full six to ten Venus Freeze treatments. Afterward, they can maintain the results simply by having one treatment every three months. Some people enjoy Venus Freeze so much that they get treatment every month.

Who is a good candidate for Venus Freeze?

Any healthy adult who wants tighter skin and has realistic expectations can undergo Venus Freeze. The procedure is particularly attractive to new mothers who want to tighten sagging skin after having a child. Venus Freeze can also help people who have lost a significant amount of weight or have undergone liposuction.

Venus Freeze can be used on adults of either gender. It can be used for any body type, skin color or skin type; however, it is not recommended for pregnant women. People with skin infections or cancerous lesions in the treatment area should not undergo Venus Freeze.
