Am I A Good Candidate For Cosmetic Surgery?
Cosmetic surgery is an elective procedure requiring you to be of sound physical and mental health. If there is any question, we may ask your personal physician to help us prepare you for surgery.
At your consultation Dr. Kaniff will discuss your concerns and examine you to determine if you are a good candidate for the cosmetic procedures.
What Type of Anesthesia Is Required for Cosmetic Surgery To Be Performed?
Minor procedures can be done using a simple local anesthesia. More extensive procedures require ‘twilight’ anesthesia – medication given intravenously in addition to the local anesthesia.
Where Are The Procedures Performed?
All of our procedures are safely performed at our accredited state-of-the-art surgery center. Cosmetic surgeries are outpatient procedures. Therefore, a hospital stay is not necessary.
Will I Need A Ride Home Following My Surgery?
Yes. For any procedure requiring twilight anesthesia you will need to arrange for a ride home. Our staff will gladly advise you on which of these procedures require transportation.
Will Insurance Cover My Surgery?
Generally cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. Check with your provider for details.
Is Financing Available?
Yes. Check with our staff for various options.
